Shri Ramesh MishraShri Ramesh Mishra- IAS-(Retd) in his 36 years of service not only worked for the rehabilitation of orphaned children but also for initiating new programmes for the uneducated girls. He also worked for establishing an equitable society through the medium of cultural activities. He expressed his views on contemporary issues through the medium of Music, Stage and his Writings.
He has been honoured as Pradesh Gaurav, Covid Yodha and Swacchata Yodha. As the youngest son of a freedom fighter who was given Life imprisonment he has written a book Pratap ki Sangharsh gatha -Ek Adhura Sangram published by Prabhat Prakashan recounting the struggles of his father under Colonial rule and after freedom. There was substantial debate on this book both in India and abroad. Several of his Music Albums have come out in the market among those are Sanam by T-Series and Chalo kumbh by ETC Channel. Video Song Ganga ab Kuch Mang rahi hai. was awarded First Prize by Namami Gange project.
He has also made Documentaries and short films with a view to preserve Indian cultural heritage and traditions. He is also working to keep Indian culture alive among new generations of Americans of Indian origin.
He is working for creating new opportunities for writing film scripts and film production in Uttar Pradesh after Covid while his priority today is for eliminating obscenity and the use of abusive language by creating new dimensions for the purpose of healthy entertainment.
